LADY ANGELA E. MAXWELL

 Lady Angela Maxwell is the First Lady of City of Refuge Outreach Ministries, Home of Thacker's Memorial United Holy Church, located in Brown Summit, NC. At the city, she currently serves as ministry leader of the Media Ministry, Women's Conference Committee, and Dance Ministry. Her greatest joy in ministry is serving beside her husband, Pastor Kevin L. Maxwell.

 Professionally, Angela serves as Director of Prevention Services for Alcohol and Drug Services, which provides substance abuse prevention services to youth and families in ten (10) counties throughout North Carolina. Angela received a B.A. Degree in English from UNC-Chapel Hill and a M.S. Degree in Agency Counseling from NC A&T State University. She is a Certified Substance Abuse Prevention Consultant and is a Certified Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Instructor.

Angela’s passion is to do God’s Will in everything she does and to serve others.
